In reply to: Help! I ruined my site!Thank you for your help everyone!
@halo-diehard I am going to try those links. For some reason the restore didn’t restore everything. and I can not figure out how to create a wp_users table to save my life. I’ve followed a few tutorials and nothing is working. I am tempted to delete the database and see if that will allow a restore then. I am logged into my server and have been working from there. I have tried contacting the hosts several times and they are not responding at all.

In reply to: Help! I ruined my site!Yeah there is nothing ___users. I’ve tried that all day and just double checked again. I have also gone into the wp-config.php to repair the table that way and it did not help. I tried that a few different times today.
I think I am just out of luck. And will need to rebuild the site from scratch. I just tried doing another restore and it said this:
WARNING: () The traffic statistics retention time on some domains is less that the server-wide value (6). The value will be changed to 6 for these domains.
ERROR: () Unable to import file as dump: Unable to convert dump to current format because it too old

In reply to: Help! I ruined my site!Right now I have the wootique theme installed. It does appear that things are back to “normal” when visiting the site. I see a lot of things that are no longer there like the side bar menu for example. But my biggest issue is I am not able to log in through wp-admin. It kept saying my password and stuff was wrong. and then now it says my cookies are not enableb even though they are and nothing is blocked. I just don’t understand why I can’t log into the back office of my site. The restore completely removed the admin user and I can’t figure out how to re-add it. All I did was restore to October 29th. Which I have had the site running for years with those tables working. Is it normal for a restore to remove my ability to log into wp-admin?
