cannot restrict access to Profile Tabs

I have create a few custom profile tabs.

There are two areas that restrict access to these pages.

1) Roles with this tab
2) Roles that can view this tab

My members are listed in WP site role as subscriber, and in community role as Member.

When I edit the profile tab, if I leave those two fields blank, everybody sees them.

But if I try to and “member” to either of them, nothing appears for that tab to the members.

Any idea of what I’m doing wrong?
