You will see first instance of trying to enter credit card details, the zip code field does not auto appear. It is only after the payment fails, and when i re-enter the card, then the zip code field appears/auto populates. I think this is the iframe.sq-card-component or the div.sq-card-iframe-container

You can also see the credit card form (size of the credit card input area) seems to gets larger after the first payment failed.

Any ideas?

Thank you for the update. So in perfmatters, we do have the ability to exclude JavaScript from deferral (ex. /wp-content/plugins/PLUGINNAME) as well as exclude stylesheets and exclude css selectors.

Is there maybe something i can input in either of these Exclusions that you feel could resolve the issue (so that perfmatters isnt doing any adjustments to the plugin?)

Hi Guys, so i went through and updated all plugins then deactivated/reactivated. and now things seem to be working again. im guessing some plugin conflict (although i wasnt too methodical when deactivating/re-activating so cant really confirm WHAT plugin was causing the conflict (i strongly dont believe it was WP Rocket). Anyways, everything seems to be working correctly now. We can close this thread and ill re-open if issues persist in the future. Thanks

I can confirm it still isnt working correctly with WP Rocket disabled.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, it had worked for about 8 hours, then stopped working again. I have no idea why. In WP Rocket, i didnt make any changes from when it was working to now. I still have the following Exclusions in WP Rocket:
Ex.
minify CSS:
Exclude: /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-square/(.*)
Minify Javascript files:
Exclude: /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-square(.*).js

Is this correct?

As far as 2 weeks, i do not have time to wait 2 weeks. Caches has been cleared. I dont know next steps. Maybe can we escalate this to Square engineering? I have emailed them and they said they can look into this however has to be initiated/approved by you guys first.

im not sure you actually even understand my issue. Please review the video link and screen captures i have sent previously. I have documented this VERY WELL for you to understand what the issue is. The Billing zip code field im referring to, is the zip code that is supposed to auto populate in the credit card form (in the 2nd step of checkout). NOT the billing zip code in the billing address area.

Please help. I need to get this sorted ASAP.

Good morning, so as of this morning, everything seems to now be working. Yesterday i had added excluded the square css / js files to the exclude within WP Rocket. I had cleared cache both on site and in cloudflare – however still wasnt working. I then uninstalled then reinstalled the square plugin. I believe after i had tested, it was still not working.

But when testing this morning, everything seems to be working fine on my end (zip code NOW is being auto populated after entering CC number). Could you also confirm on your end just to ensure its not just in my tests? Please and thank you. And assuming its working correctly, we can close this ticket.

I should also mention, zip code field is being auto populated in the staging site (NOT on production site). Im assuming from this is being pulled directly from the billing zip code field. So im wondering if this is where the issue is? If you want to dive in more on my site, you will see 2 Credit Card option fields on the checkout (i need to leave the paypal credit card processing as default as its a live site). The square option is the one that shows 4 card icons (paypal card processing shows only 3 card icons).
