Anyway, Seth, if you’re reading this, it works fine on my demo server (I would give a link but it’s behind a private members area). I tried uninstalling the plugin on my client’s server and reinstalling, but the problem still exists. Is there a way to totally wipe out all the settings so I can do a fresh install?

Yes, I got it working. I did some more searching and saw where you recommended to someone else with the same issue to use a custom field with block set to true.

I’m having trouble with pages not being blocked, too. Here’s how I have it set up:

Pages are NOT blocked by default.
Show excerpts is selected.

And on the page that has content that needs to be protected, I have this:

Fixed. I had inadvertently left the jquery lazy load plugin activated and the gray box was coming from that. Oops!

I’m having this same issue. When I go to Users > Authors & Users > and then click on my username, I am trying to fill in the Biographical Info box where it says, “Share a little biographical information to fill out your profile. This may be shown publicly.”

The problem is that if I try to divide my text into paragraphs, they aren’t sticking. I can see in the admin that the paragraphs are there, but out on the website, it gets displayed as all one paragraph. Looking at the source code, I see that there is indeed one <p> at the beginning and one </p> at the end – nothing in between where I added line breaks.

Is there a way to fix this?

I’ve not looked into them at all, so I don’t know what kind of code (good or bad) they put out, but you can google “wordpress theme generator” to find some do-it-yourself options.

Otherwise, if you don’t have experience with XHTML/CSS/PHP, you will probably want to hire someone to create your theme.

Yeah, I know I can do a CC for IE, but I was hoping to find the problem and fix it instead. I can do a negative margin for IE, but it seems silly to do that when all my other themes are fine. I’ll keep looking… ??

(But I may just do the CC just to save my sanity if I can’t find it! lol)
