apparently SMTP, tho I do not have that plugin at my other site & would def prefer not to use it.

this is the info from Check & Log Email:

SendMail path (UNIX): /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i
SMTP server (Windows): localhost
SMTP port (Windows): 25

I have already talked to the host & we have unblocked port 25 AFAIK

Shall I deactivate SMTP & try it without? Does it automatically go to PHP?

OK, I have determined that is almost certainly issue 4. Incorrect Server Configuration

via Check & Log email, I can confirm that no emails are being sent.

However, the advice is “It is better to contact the plugin developer for the solution and tell them about your issue.”

What does that mean?

I have resolved this issue; but now it seems the newsletter is not arriving, acc to subscribers I have checked with

the message I got said “Your email has been sent!”

I see it is possible to change user status from unconfirmed to subscriber one at a time; this is too much work for over a hundred users. Can you tell me how to do it as a bulk operation, thanks.

oh, never mind i think it does work already

I have a query about this extension – currently I have to constantly sync up my new subscribers to my mailchimp via the extension. can someone explain to me how to make it automatic, ie, so that whenever someone subscribes to UM, they are automatically added to the audience connection I have created for my newsletter?
