Thanks. I decided to use separate dashboards for it. I will test it on another site and see if it’s a cache issue, and get back to you on it.
I’d like to know as well.
Have you tried the UM log in widget?
Just troubleshooting…
Did you check the registration forms setup to make sure that it’s set to the specific user role that can access the form?
Did you make sure the settings are enabled in the user role settings?
Did you make sure your email setup is configured correctly?
I’ve got 6 enabled registration forms and they work fine and register my fake test accounts as they’re supposed to.
Unless it’s a wordpress or mail function problem, then it’d be the UM mapping of the form to the user role.
Hopefully they will get you squared away.
Yes, it’s doable.
Step 1 — UM Settings / Appearance
uncheck Profile Cover PhotosYou may still want to add a default header that will show in the member directory though.
Step 2 — UM Forms / Profile(s) / Sidebar Custom Settings
Enable Cover Photos – NoStep 3 — UM Member Directory Settings / Profile Card
Enable Cover Photo – Yes (unless you prefer the grey rectangle)Hope that helps!
Another issue I found is that adding the video url to the editor directly will show the video but if the video ratio is large, it stretches out the page and juts into and behind the sidebar.
But using insert / media / source and pasting the url in that way the video doesn’t show up at all.
This is for a test user adding a video to a post.
As for the updates, I reinstalled the previous version and will just ignore these updates unless there’s a massive security fix. I’m not going to redo my customizations every time yall update stuff to change fonts and whatever. I don’t have time for all that.
That too. It was not even remotely necessary to mess with the fonts. It’s not an enhancement, it has zero bearing on the utility of the plugin.
Now I have to spend more time finding where that is and fixing it. This is ridiculous.
One thing the devs are guaranteeing is I will NEVER pay them for a pro version if they can’t stop breaking the free one. No credibility. No cash.
There are things actually wrong with the plugin. Like recaptcha v3 not letting the submit button work.
FONTS? I was just about ready to launch and this update screwed it completely up. Please stop messing with what’s not broken. Let US customize enhancements.
Hi
I’ve narrowed down the issue to the upload image option. When it’s enabled and an image is uploaded, the form submit button doesn’t even “click” – it doesn’t do anything. When no image is uploaded (but still enabled) the button works, the form submits, refreshes and goes to the new post.
There is some kind of issue between submitting the post and images that are uploaded.
ETA
I went ahead and deleted and disabled all recaptcha keys, cleared cache and tried the same post form with and without uploading images…and without recaptcha the post form does work.I think it’s actually an issue with recaptcha being enabled. I am using v3 recaptcha for cf7 and ultimate member. When both are enabled and active, the post forms do not “submit” on click. When both are disabled, the form works as it’s supposed to, both with image upload and just a test text post.
Any suggestions or solutions will be much appreciated. I need to use recaptcha on the front end so the conflict between it and wpuf needs a solution. I hope you can help resolve this asap.
Thanks!

Thanks! Where do I add this code?
Hey sorry about reopening this Champ but I have a question.
The theme I am using doesn’t have a scripts.js file and the customizer is confusing. Could you give me a more specific location for where to add the hook code above?
I was using the shortcodes for total user count and by specific role but the shortcodes are showing up and not the numbers. Are the shortcodes connected to that filter string you posted above or is it separate?
I don’t know where to put that code.
And the shortcords are not working.
[total_user_count role=”um_member”]
Thanks!

Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Manage User Columns] Two questions pleaseWe can resolve this one. I installed it, set up 3 new columns and linked them to ultimate member values from the profile. Works perfectly.
Thanks for this!
It was just delayed. All’s well again.
Resolved.
Hi
No because those fields are not available.
Global Site Access Site accessible to everyone
Restricted Access Message blank had it set on the actual page for the UM settings
Allow Gutenberg Blocks restriction options: not checked
Restrict Access to Posts Post checked Page checked Media not checked
Restricted Access to Taxonomies: none checked`
That’s all there is.

It’s not a stupid question. I also think this needs to be a different option. I had to modify the theme files to scoot it over, change it, make it larger, etc. and it was a huge pain.
If the devs see this, maybe they will change the gear icon to a menu option to make it more accessible across various screens.
So to answer your question, the gear is all ya get lol.
For mine, the access settings are
site is accessible to all
nothing in the custom message boxand below the field, posts and pages are checked while media and the custom options are not checked.
The custom message I’m referring to is regarding the option on the page itself for um content restrictions…to show restricted message and to show global custom message.
It’s just for non logged in users trying to access the account dashboard page that redirects them to the log in page instead of the custom message. All the other restricted pages do show the custom message.
As a temporary workaround I added some of the custom message to the login page itself so if this can’t get sorted out then I’ll go about it this way.

Might also consider clearing your browser cache and/or flushing your dns. It’s amazing how many times that turns out to be the issue and not a coding issue lol. Just worth a try to rule it out, if nothing else.
But non logged in people can see the search option…unless there’s some other search option aside from the one that says “search members” in the field.
I will say that for me at least the site is really slow loading.
