Thanks for the answer. I’d forgotten I’d posted that. It was actually an issue on my end. I have to change permissions in my file manager before it would work. I didn’t notice that I wasn’t getting the real results until I started reading more about the plugin. Now I know ??
I changed permissions and everything cached just fine, just like it should. Thank you for answering. I wish I could delete this topic but they don’t allow us to.
Thanks James. I actually just put it at the top of the page and it works. I didn’t know that this would create a message board post, I thought it would just be emailed to the developer (which now that I think about it I should have added more info either way, huh?)
So, yes, default placement work. I am actually happier with where it is placed right now. I prefer that over the widget area. For what it’s worth, my theme is a paid for one, from elegant themes. I don’t know what you mean by what settings I used. I used the recommended settings. I placed the widget in the widget bar and nothing showed. I did not try clearing the cache. So maybe that was my fault.
Sorry about the lack of information. I had to get offline for a bit.
Anywho, thanks to your questions, I realized that I hadn’t put anything for question #3. When I added a generic title (management page) everything worked. The error is no longer showing. So thanks for helping me figure that out!!
I don’t know if you need this info anymore but just in case: I am using version 1.2.1. I did upgrade from the earlier version. I didn’t have the page set in that one and didn’t get the error then.
But now everything is cleared up so once again, THANK YOU ??
I’m getting this error on my page: Warning: strpos() [function.strpos]: Empty delimiter
on line 340.

In reply to: Integrate Google Docs Survey with WordPress…iheller, you can link to it, if it is a big form. Or, you can follow the directions here to embed it. It worked for me in my test form, I had to adjust the height a little.
(Copied & pasted)
Have you ever wanted to embed a form into your WordPress blog page or post? Using Google Docs, it’s easy, and it can be done in a few simple steps:1. In Google Docs, select “Create New->Form”.
2. Choose your questions and question types. You can select whether you want them to be mandatory or optional.
3. When everything looks good, select “More Actions->Embed”.
4. While editing your post in HTML mode, paste the code into your post/page.
5. Change the width value to “100%”, and adjust the height as you see fit. Here are a few notes to remember while editing your page/post:
* Every time you switch to the Visual editor, your form will be erased. You can simply go back to Google Docs and grab the embed code again.
* If you update your form in Google Docs, it will automatically update in your page/post. You may have to adjust width/height to get rid of scrollbars.
* To get rid of the scroll bars, change the width value to “100%” and adjust the height until the scrollbar disappears.Hope it helps!

In reply to: Check out my new website!I really like it. It looks professional, and fun. If I were in the market for help, I’d go for your site.
I’m a newbie, so I don’t know what I’m talking about. Just thought you’d like feedback from a normal end user.
I’ve read that you can use gmail/google apps as an email provider when you have a custom domain. So rather than [email protected], it’s [email protected]. I know I said that wrong. I found this link that could tell you more about it. Gmail help It’s not my link and you might want to find something that’s more recent.
Or, you could use a contact form instead. If you don’t want to do either maybe use an email address image so you won’t get spammed.

In reply to: horse racing site looking for feedbackI like it OK. I don’t like the header though. I like the effects, but the colors and everything make it look mid 90’s. Also (and this could be because I am also streaming a tv show) the background image took a long time to load. Maybe make it smaller or cut out the parts that don’t show? Also, I’m just a newbie user, what do I know?? ??

In reply to: Magazine layout – feedback appreciatedI like it. It looks clean, but still very content rich. I couldn’t read anything ?? but I still liked it. I clicked around on more pages than I thought I would. The videos streamed no problem. Also, I liked the colors!

Thanks for your fast answer. I had it set for replies to be emailed to me but I think it didn’t work because I still had WP.org up.
The changes you requested worked, so thank you so much!
Is there a way to get the space under the header smaller?
Thanks again!
