Well, my dashboard went back to looking normal after a couple hours more. I was still unable to make posts because the visual editor was not working. I then called my ISP and told them to reset my DSL or try something. I then went to sleep and woke up the next morning to everything being perfectly fine: everything worked.

Then come today, I still see the dashboard perfectly fine, but the visual editor is not working again…

Any more suggestions? Anyone? Please.

Thanks so much! It’s all resolved now.

I uploaded the Twenty Twelve to my site with FileZilla and my site finally appeared with the Twenty Twelve theme. I then deleted the Gamepress broken theme from my FTP Files and uploaded a new fresh file of Gamepress and now it all works fine.

I still get the “An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.” yellow message at the top of my Dashboard, but everything seems to be fine.

I also noticed that my site has been somewhat slow lately. Browsing the internet I found that lots of other who use the Gamepress theme run slow too. I thought I’d let you know that, Alex.

There is no option to delete Gamepress in my Appearance > Themes. It tells me Twenty Twelve is my current them, but my site is blank, as I said in my original post.

So I should go into my FTP Files for my site, go into WP Content > Themes and just delete the whole Gamepress file? Then upload a fresh one using FileZilla?

Looks like I fixed it. All I had to do was uncheck the box for “Auto-create phpBB accounts when needed?”

I posted a support post for the Special Recent Posts plugin. I was told to disable Photon in Jetpack and it all seems to work now. Thanks for the help anyways though! ??

The thumbnails still do not show on my sidebars. I assume it was not a problem with the theme, but maybe with the widget I am using, Special Recent Posts Free’.

@oniamigt I have no idea actually, they just started working at some point between when I made this topic and now.
