yeah I linked it above https://worldoceansday.org/2013events/event-search/
i have the MySQL table export, can anyone give me some help on finding the email addresses? Are they stored somewhere besides “wp_em_events” table?
Hmmm… sorry, I’m confused. I don’t see a Bookings option.
Just to clarify, I’m not trying to email event attendees, I want to email the event organizers. These are people who listed events on our site using the Events Submission form. I don’t have Pro but I’ll buy it if I need it in order to export all of these contacts.
All of the events are organized for a big worldwide event, and I want to email them about resources they can use.

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Google Map ImageNobody but you can see that page because you’re in maintenance mode, I assume

In reply to: WordPress Account Registration Incredibly SlowThere doesn’t seem to be any plugin issues, but I realized it could be the mailer. Whenever you register the server sends out an email and I think this might be the issue.
Doesn’t explain the event manager problem, but seems to be a reasonable suspect for this issue.

In reply to: WordPress Account Registration Incredibly Slow@andrew… I’ve tried it with the default theme 2011 and it didn’t fix the issue. I’ll try it with plugins deactivated one-by-one.

In reply to: WordPress Account Registration Incredibly SlowWhen I say I worry it has something to do with the Events Manager problem, I mean the same underlying issue is causing problems with both actions. I did disable the Event Manager plugin and registering for a WordPress blog account (on my site) still knocked the whole site down until registration was complete (takes over a minute.. sometimes a few minutes).

In reply to: WordPress Account Registration Incredibly SlowNope, same problem
Haha, no, foolishly is my own words. I know that publishing events for some reason slows the server down to a crawl so it was dumb to try and publish 3 at once. The server is 100% solid and zipping otherwise which is why I’m so stumped.
Is publishing events different from editing them? As in, is the interaction with the server different?
I’ll try disabling other plugins, thanks.
I’m kind of (really) amateur, can you explain what CPTs are?
We don’t have a lot of crazy plugins: we use W3 Total Cache with Memcached and APC which I know can cause issues if not configured properly, but literally only this ONE thing is causing any issues.
Earlier today CloudFlare even told me the site was down when I foolishly tried to publish 3 events at once. The events aren’t recurring, recurring events aren’t even enabled, actually.
It looks like the problems is wp_em_…tables then? MySQL issue?
The thing is, it’s only when I PUBLISH events that it takes a long time to load.
What exactly is happening when I publish events? Is it creating temporary tables? Is it talking to MySQL? Knowing this may help me figure out what’s going on.
I don’t doubt it’s something to do with my server settings/how it interacts with WordPress, I just need to know what ACTION is taking place so I have somewhere to start. Thanks.
thanks for the help! is there an easy way to find IDs? I just hovered over the category name links but that seems a little roundabout.
Thanks, that’s done it! I had the Country as Scotland. It is a little confusing to be able to select the country Scotland but not display events as being there.
I’ve displayed it by region=”scotland” and that fixes it. Thank you!!
I’ve been using countrycode.org… they don’t have Scotland listed though. Also using
[events_list country="GB"]
or GBR neither work
