Thank you for the info. I was able to do edit my wp-config, but It will not connect to Facebook still shows the above error

When i try to connect Twitter i get this error: Cannot read property ‘sites’ of undefined

I am waiting for the host to respond to me to edit .htaccess & ini file

Main reason is we are changing themes and want to use the some of the nice plugins across entire site, and much easier to maintain

Would this be the cleanest way to do this:

– Install wordpress on root (using the same database as /blog/ install), that way all content is there
– delete /blog/ subfolder?

Creating a testing site while doing all of this of courese

Still very weird i did what oyu said:

page: home = index
page: posts = posts page

i was gettign 100 sessions a day from those links, i put both of those to redirect to the root of the new site, and the traffic never was sent, it is like it disappeared

Actually we are moving domains from the .net to the .info

I have the new domain setup. The problem is we get a lot of traffic on many of the posts plus the pages, so we are trying to 301 the traffic to the new domain to keep post integrity and SEO intact.

I have used your plugin before dong this and it work, but this time the root traffic doesn’t, but the root page is blog roll of the most recent posts.

I did try all that and it didnt work

I was able to figure out issue and fix it. My server was out of space due to a log issue, deleted all the logs and everything worked again

Ah ok, well i believe I can do the MyODBC way as i have never touched RSS before so that is a new one for me…. but it will be harder and wont look as nice as the way i am wanting it to though. Thanks for the info though it gives me some path in whcih to look, i think lol

no no. I am wanting the Index.asp to contain all my info from when i blog/post news on my site. That is where i am having problems. right now they are seperate things and i wnat them together.

crap! Sorry i though i posted the info about the server.

I have php and mysql installed and running on this server. As a matter of fact WordPress is installed and running on the server, I am just having the hardest freakin time trying to get my posts to show up on a my index page, which is an asp page. Hence my problem….at least i know they can walk hand in hand, but intergration oh the joys like getting stabbed iwth a red hot iron in the eye……..
