i am using the latest wordpress 4.2.2.
i found another plugin called “Easy Facebook Likebox” this one works just fine

Update: Okay, i got it – just used this <?php echo do_shortcode("[featured-video-plus]"); ?> in my child theme. pretty easy ??

now i just have to replace the featured image in visual composers post masonry grid.
Any chance you can tell my how to do that?
