Thanks for the clarification, We currently don’t support site editing in EditorsKit. This means you will only be able to use Editorskit functionality on a page/post editor.

Thanks for reporting this issue. We were not able to replicate this issue, Can you please verify if the “Special Characters” isn’t disabled from the Editorskit settings. You can access the editorskit settings from Admin Dashboard -> Settings -> Editorskit.

Thank you for your suggestion. Currently we are only focused on core blocks. Maybe in future, we will consider adding support for 3rd party blocks.
