Hello womansour,
I tested the bug today, and I confirm that their is a problem.
I’ve created a new virgin WordPress website using ?Local WP? (PHP 8.2.23 / Apache / MySQL 8.0.16 / WordPress 6.6.2).
- I’ve added 2 images (JPG + PNG) on a page using Gutenberg.
- I’ve installed the free version of WP-Optimize plugin (v3.7.0).
- I’ve activated the WebP image management, by checking the option [Create WebP version of image] + [Reset WebP serving method].
- Everything works fine. The images are served as WebP.
- Then I deactivated the plugin. And then reactitavte it.
- Now, the WebP are not served anymore (just the basic JPG and PNG).
- For the WebP images to be served again, I need either to:
1) Recheck the option [Create WebP version of image]
2) OR reclick [Reset WebP serving method]. - Then the WebP images are served normally again.
Thank you for your help.
Thank you for taking the time to look into my request.
I’ll continue to monitor it, and get back to you if needed.Best regards,
Asyx
Thank you for your feedback. I’m not sure I have enough experience yet to understand the problem (if there is any problem). Google Search Console said this:
Page is not indexed: Not found (404)

In reply to: [Redirection] Deactivated redirection still redirect (a solution)I did some tests. In fact, the solution I’ve proposed may introduce some problems. Can I ask you to erase my message?
