In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] Updated and 403 errorHi
In my case – I am an idiot!
Forgot about the Black and white list!
But since I thought it was fixed and nothing happened for a month, I thought it was something else – so, the Apache problem is staying I guess.
Just used this link as reminder!

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] Updated and 403 errorMe too… and unfortunately I have to say… again.
Months ago, I wasted so much time and it happened again!
My sites are pretty static as well.
Since changes ‘maybe’ last year, it started to happen a few times.
Clearly there are some issues.Hi there
Thanks for taking the time.
It actually disappears when I deactivate it, I even uninstalled and re-installed – same thing.
I use it on a couple of personal websites and I have uninstalled it on one of them in this case – and installed a simpler one – no need for the very good AIOSEO.
I am sure your customers must be very pleased with your plug-in even without the Pro side is very good!
So, it is solved – still do not know why, but even though I found another plugin of a different way active and deactivated and then uninstalled, was till doing it.
I did clear cache etc. as usual, as it could simple be the browser or computer cache.
Well, one of those things.
Thanks
M
Addition: I guess another reason could be a Cache plugin! Just thought about it!I managed to found a link in your huge amount of pages to switch sitemap off, but it still creates a EMPTY sitemap.xml.gz within the Host cache.
If I delete it, it comes back.
What is going on?
A reply with help would be nice.
I understand it is free, but this is a basic question and could be good advertisement to you for possible ‘paying customers’
Thanks

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - Dynamic Text Extension] Sender IP address? This is not needed any more – sorry!
Since they are left forever, I do not see the reason to leave it when it is just cluttering a server!I found this:
https://bandittracker.com/ways-to-remove-wordfence/- This reply was modified 1 year, 7 months ago by astr0wp.
On your ‘help’ page, it says:
If you are removing Wordfence permanently, or if you want to do a complete reinstallation of Wordfence then you can enable the option “Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation”.
Do not says how/where!
Sorry, if I am stupid but…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [BulletProof Security] UNINSTALL EVERY INSTACE – How to?Unfortunately it seems WordPress does not delete posts…
This one just wastes space… anyway… OKHi
I may have found ‘a problem’
Since I did not do anything, maybe your coding causes this problem when or if HOST company changes IP!
Mine recently changed where they host their customer sites = changed IP.
No, it is not nginx / lightspeed and it only happened to one of the sites on same shared linux server… in my case
Just an idea.Managed to have the 5.0.9 version working.
That is it. Tired to try and try.
I know mine is a free version, but … all the same.
Happy Christmas- This reply was modified 2 years, 2 months ago by astr0wp.
I even installed down to 5.1.1 and also deactivated all plugins.
No change
Then I installed an older version 4 and work s fine!
It did happen to me maybe a year ago and went back to one of the 4 versions and worked.
Just so you know.In the meantime I had to rename and do the usual …
Problem is, I have not done anything !Hi me too! If I go to the usual set-up 'WP Security hidden' login page, I am having exactly the same problem... I get: Access to www.mydomain.com was denied You don't have authorisation to view this page. HTTP ERROR 403 Last update and nothing to do with my IP. In-fact if I go to the standard WP login page - i.e. mysdomain.com/wp-admin, I see it. #.htaccess# If I upload older .htaccess, no change Also, when I go and check current .htaccess, there is no whitelist ! I am confused. If I take .htaccess off, whole site goes 403. As it is, site is accessible, 403 on admin only. Thanks M
