The solution for me, after trying various suggestions including clearing the cache, resetting browser profiles, etc. was to access the site via the non-www version (ie. example.com instead of https://www.example.com).

I had an htaccess rewrite setting that was redirecting to https://www.example.com – I’ve now reversed that so everything goes to example.com.

I found a solution, at least on my end. I need to access my site via the non-www version (ie. example.com instead of https://www.example.com). I had an htaccess rewrite that sent everything to www. I guess I’ll need to reverse that now.

Same problem here – new WP 2.1 install
