In reply to: [Simple Badges] [Plugin: Simple Badges] Can't add new badgeEric,
Glad to know that you are able to use the plugin.
Could you guide with the steps to assign the badges manually for users or user roles?
Thanks!

In reply to: [GRA4 Social Network] lolI need to get clarified about one thing. How about Resource usage?
Can I call it as a “Light weighted” plugin?

In reply to: [GRA4 Social Network] lolHello,
The interface may resemble Elgg and the author might have inspired by Elgg. But we must appreciate the effort building a plugin for WordPress with great functionality.
I don’t understand “Powered by Elgg”. Does it mean that you rendered the code or something from Elgg?
I like the feature rich plugin and it’s components that no plugin ever provided us all together.
Addon for s2Member is a bit important for me. Can I expect it in near future? I guess it will have good response from other Indian users who want to integrate membership plugin and accept payments
No other membership plugin provide alternative payment options for Paypal other than 2checkout and one or two non-indian payment gateways which are useless for Indian users
Hope you good luck
The child network’s domain is under the same network’s domain(Sub -domain) same as other child networks. But the Domain issue is with only this particular child network and sites under it
Did you create a wildcard DNS record for the child network, or separate entries for each affected sub-domain?
To resolve the issue, I have created the wildcard DNS. But no result. It is only working if I create separate entries for each affected subdomain. Just now tried creating some other sub-sites under this network. They only work if I create separate entries
David Dean ,
I have created a new mu plugin with the function ” fix_network_site_url”. Used the same code with out modifying it.
And edited the ms-settings.php file adding the code
if ( ! isset( $current_site->blog_id ) ) $current_site->blog_id = $wpdb->get_var( $wpdb->prepare( "SELECT blog_id FROM $wpdb->blogs WHERE domain = %s ORDER BY blog_id LIMIT 1", $current_site->domain ) );
after
if ( ! isset( $current_site->blog_id ) ) $current_site->blog_id = $wpdb->get_var( $wpdb->prepare( "SELECT blog_id FROM $wpdb->blogs WHERE domain = %s AND path = %s", $current_site->domain, $current_site->path ) );
I find no change or result in accessing the root site’s network admin and there is no solution for lost site yet
Hope you help me to fix this

Sorry ! Typo in my previous message
It is amazing to look the advanced feedback system on a Self-Hosted
(Typo as hosted)
environment. Till now, that was possible only with hosted platforms like Uservoice and getsatisfaction. your UserNoise made that possible ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Wikiful, bridging Mediawiki and WordPressThe plugin WikiFul has been removed from repository. Could you tell me the reason for removal
Is blog id 29 the affected site?
No Sir ! It was highlighted in the screenshot, because of mouseover while taking screenshot. Actually there is no relation with blog 29 and child network
If you moved it to “available” it should be in limbo. Check your blogs table for a blog with a site_id of 0.
I have checked under wp_blogs Dean. But did n’t find it. please have a look at screen shot
You should also be able to find it in the “Available” section by its name, albeit with a different network domain.
I am aware that the blog moved to ‘available ‘ section should appear like ‘blogs.local’ . But I can’t find this child network’s root site with any name under ‘available section
I have already moved/recovered the blogs under the affected child network to another child network. the only loss is …1) the root site and 2)lost access to super admin . There are no other problems.
Thank you!
I have already checked that . There is no sign of the child-network’s root site in wp_blogs table
I could see the child network in wp_site
Thank you !
