I don’t know why this thread was marked as resolved, because the plugin page is still showing, “This plugin has been closed as of March 1, 2024 and is not available for download. This closure is temporary, pending a full review.” Does anyone have an update?

I posted almost 6 weeks ago. Because the problem wasn’t resolved quickly and fully, I removed Post Snippets from the website weeks ago.

The snippet has variables (names: title1,link1,title2,link2,title3,link3,title4,link4,title5,link5), and Shortcode is enabled.

I had the same issue with minification preventing Google Fonts from working. Disabling CSS minification fixed the problem. I thought that was a bit extreme, so I experimented with other settings, and found that I could keep CSS minifcation enabled, and on the Minify > CSS tab I could paste the code from Google Fonts into the “Load the following CSS files asynchronously” box:

That code is unique to this site; you’ll need to use the code you get from Google Fonts. That fixed the problem.

I asked Flywheel (web host), and they said,

I was able to link this issue to a bug that we have outstanding at this time. There is not a workaround for this at this time but moving forward, I would recommend manually updating the plugin via SFTP until this is fixed. You can certainly jump into chat and have them look up ticket [removed] to get the status on the bug but it might be at least a couple of weeks before we have an update on this.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tested 3 sites (using staging sites), updating WooCommerce with and without deactivating all plugins first. For 2 sites with WooCommerce 4.4.1, the update to 4.5.1 failed, with and without deactivating plugins first. In all cases, WooCommerce was deleted and I got the errors described in my original post.

For 1 site with WooCommerce 4.3.1, the update to 4.5.1 worked properly, with and without deactivating plugins first.

So disabling plugins didn’t make a difference. What else can I try?

A firewall was blocking communication. After a rule was added to allow it, this worked. Thanks for helping by email!

Liz, I confirm that no Interest Group was selected on the Integrate step. No box was checked. I deactivated and reactivated the plugin, and the last 2 tests worked; the subscriber was not placed in a group.

I believe KWiesner isn’t referring to coding standards, but to Google not wanting popups on mobile (details).

I have the same issue in the latest version of the plugin. ??

Wompa, I have no record that CloudFlare ever responded to my support ticket. I still have the CloudFlare plugin disabled on the site that experienced problems. I haven’t looked into this since my last post, 5 months ago.
