Clarification on steps to reproduce:

1. Latest version of WordPress, GiveWP, and Elementor Free version.
2. NEW INSTALL of GiveWP (fresh fresh fresh) in which you go through the GiveWP onboarding, and GiveWP automatically installs all of the pages needed for GiveWP.
3. Edit the Donation Confirmation page in Elementor (aka the Success page). On one site, I got a Fatal Error as indicated above when saving the Elementor layout. On another site, the page never loads properly. And there is a Javascript error, so I never got to save the page (see error below).
4. To workaround this issue: Create a NEW WordPress page for the Donation confirmation and change the GiveWP Settings for the Success page to use this new page, then you can edit fine in Elementor.

So the issue appears to only be a problem, strangely, with the Donation Confirmation page that GiveWP auto generates. Here is a Loom video demonstrating this:

The Javascript error when the Elementor edit page interface is open on the Donation Confirmation page that Give creates. I should add I’ve tested in Elementor 3.18.3, 3.19, 3.19.1, and 3.19.2.

There is also a PHP warning happening on the site but perhaps unrelated:

Clarification: when using bulk edit on ANY post type, such as pages or posts. Must disable GiveWP to use any WordPress bulk edit function.

This happened on a new install of WordPress. Happy to test further. Quick Edit works fine.

I tried to use Loco Translate to simply edit the English strings to add French to them, but the translation files are not organized correctly with your plugin, so that’s not working either. But should your plugin have correct translation bundles defined, then this would be a workaround. It looks like you have French and Spanish language files defined correctly but not the English file.

Thank you. I tested latest version of the plugin. Please do not mark this issue as resolved since this is an outstanding issue that is not resolved and will impact any site with more than a few thousand users.

When the Wallet plugin is active on a site with many users, the site becomes completely non functional with repeated 502 errors. We are unable to do basic functions on the site such as update plugins, navigate the site, etc.

I would like an update as to when you think this issue will be resolved.

I use Elementor Pro with Events Manager and have done things a bit creatively.

Like The Events Calendar, there is not any true integration with Elementor, however you can set up a Header and apply it to the Single Events. I’ve mostly used CSS to try to make it look nicer.

So sorry to say, there isn’t really anything you can do with Elementor with this.

Hi @mvebdev – I agree. This plugin is so critical to the WooCommerce eco-system. It really should be given all the support and attention it deserves.

I have sent a follow up request to the WP Swings support team since this issue has not been resolved, and my web host is now noting the constant 500 server errors on the sites we run Wallet plugin on. I hope this helps get this resolved since the support ticket has been unresolved for 6 months and fatal errors should be resolved more quickly.

This issue is now solved with CoBlocks 3.0.2 –

I tested with the update, and the Elementor issues are all resolved with this update. The order of stylesheets is now correct and the Improved CSS Loading now works fine as well.

While Improved CSS Loading in Elementor settings makes any issues obvious, there is also the other underlying issue of CoBlocks changing the entire order of how CSS stylesheets load REGARDLESS of whether the Improved CSS Loading is active or not.

So be sure your GitHub ticket includes this because of CoBlocks is impacting the order in which Elementor’s stylesheets are loading, it could impact the order in which other plugins’ stylesheet are loading, which can be problematic even if people don’t immediately notice a visual issue with this. Eg they may find certain settings to override certain styles don’t work.

On further evaluation, it appears CoBlocks appearance issue is related to Elementor’s Improved Asset Loading Setting under Elementor > Settings > Features > Improved CSS Loading

If Improved CSS Loading is Active, then the issue with CoBlocks 3.0.1 arises.

However, please inspect your page source to be sure that you are also taking note of the HTML source code and the impacts CoBlocks is having on the ordering of stylesheets REGARDLESS of whether the styling is correct on the front-facing page. CoBlocks should not be changing the order of these CSS files.

I was able to update the field. The key is pressing Enter after typing the new ID while leaving the cursor in the field. Thank you.

Mystery solved.

LearnDash just released a bug fix in version 4.5.1.2 two weeks ago:

Fix – Passed quizzes not showing continue button.

So I guess this was an LearnDash bug I happened to stumble upon between their version updates. I will mark this as solved now.
