In reply to: [Yoast SEO] My Complete link isn't showing up in “Canonical rel”Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Fourteen. If this resolves the issue, you have a conflict and should activate one plugin at a time until you locate the conflict. Finally, after all plugins are active, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or a theme conflict.
If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a small guide that will walk you through the steps. You can find it here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts: https://kb.yoast.com/article/253-how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts

Support at YoastThanks for the info Bunzer. I’m sure that everyone here that is struggling with this problem would appreciate if you could do that for us and let us know.
If we can reproduce this with just our plugin and one of the default themes, we’ll assist you in getting a bug ticket opened and if we can finally get to the bottom of this pesky thing.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Sitemap File Too Large for GoogleHi chicnailspc
In your screenshot: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/02d5b8nnb0
Can you translate into English, for me, what that “Problem” and “Description” says?
Additionally, when viewing your sitemap https://chicnailspiacenza.com/sitemap_index.xml I see that it is now split up better. It was probably a caching problem causing it not to update earlier. Please re-try submitting that url ^^ to Google Search Console.

Support at YoastBunzer, did you get this error, while on the Twenty Twelve theme, with ONLY our plugin activated?
If so, I’d like to hear more about your website setup.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Question about SEO titlesHi d.chatzimanolis
Most of the time that occurs because the THEME is appending the title forcibly via the code.
You can learn more about that here: https://kb.yoast.com/article/76-the-seo-title-output-for-the-plugin-doesnt-work-as-expected

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Post sitemap not submittingHi Rik0399,
There will be no updates to any sitemap that does not contain new posts than it contained at that time.
So if your sitemap has post/page sitemap 1, 2, 3, 4, …. only the #4 is likely to be updated because it’s the one getting new posts added to it. When it is filled… you’ll move to #5, and then 4 will not be updated.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Page Title & Meta Description disappeared on multilingual siteHi jpmercier,
Assuming that you are able to replicate this with the default theme and only our plugin enabled, I would recommend that you file a bug report on this at our github at: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo
I don’t see it in the present list of bugs reported: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+WPML
Do be sure to check for a plugin or theme conflict first though as that’s the most likely cause of output errors.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] YOAST SEO Info Missing on WordPress PagesIt’s possible that it’s somehow gotten disabled on pages.
Start by opening your page editor… go to the very top right-hand corner where it says “Screen Options”… open up screen options, and look for Yoast SEO and put a check mark next to it. Then you can close screen options.
Also, in the plugin settings, under Titles/Meta, under pages, be sure there is no checkmark next to “hide”.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] tabs missingYour screenshot looks like ALL the tabs in the post/page editor are missing. Is that true or have you actually disabled the advanced tab in settings?
You will also want to briefly test in a default theme, such as Twenty Twelve or Twenty Fourteen, to see if there is a theme conflict.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Facebook share image problemThe image you are setting is known as a default image and is only polled by Facebook when it can not find another suitable image. It sounds like the page/post/article you are checking has other suitable images… and thus you need to specify one for the item in the post/page editor.
“Then, set a good default image. This will be used when you have a post or page that does not contain an image, so it can still be shared with maximal visibility.” https://yoast.com/social-media-optimization-with-wordpress-seo-by-yoast/#hfb
