I have the same problem that no users are counted.
Just migrated two web sites to another server and applied an SSL certificate.
With one site WP-Piwik/Motamo works fine. Users are counted.
With the other site: Nothing. No matter what I do.

I even reset the whole plugin. Deinstalled, reinstalled. Deleted the web site from Motamo and re-registered.
It just won’t count.
Even though it connects just fine with Motamo and registers the web site.

Help urgently needed.

It was already disabled.

It was not enabled.
I cleared the cache anyway.
Same result.
Layout also broken in Safari on iOS 10.3.2.
And on the iOS version of Chrome it’s broken as well.

Weird. What version are you on?
And are you using Safari on a Mac or PC?
I’m on macOS 10.12.5 and Safari 10.1.1

Yes, that’s what I do: Publish with the box checked.
I tried to disable that and use Open Graph by Yoast SEO. But had the same effects.

That might be a workaround. But it can’t be the solution.
I’m using the automatic publicize function when publishing. So I have to double check each time if the publicized article is shown correctly in Facebook and manually publish it again after using the Facebook Debugger.

Nope. I never do a test-sharing in that sense.
Best thing I do is use the preview. Sometimes I draft articles, save them, edit them after a period of time, save them again and publish them at a later stage.
Or I use the timer to automatically publish at a certain date.
But I never press the sharing button actively.

What do you mean by “test-sharing”?
I previewed the article in wordpress using the preview button.
I also experienced this behavior once or twice when creating an article via the iOS App on the iPad and published it.
