In reply to: Error 500 on wp-admin after upgradeMy apologies if this was unclear, but as I said, my blog and even the login page are working. It is my back office (wp-admin), where I actually update the blog, that I cannot access, because I get a 500 error.
To see the error, you would have to be logged in and with the creds to access my back office yourself. How do I check the error log?

In reply to: Pages won’t displayOh, like I said, I had a copy of my header image saved locally; it didn’t take long at all to upload it again. Thanks again for all your help!

In reply to: Pages won’t displayUpgrading my theme seems to have corrected the issue. Thanks!
Now to restore my custom header . . . thankfully I have it saved locally.

In reply to: Pages won’t displayWe badly need a new webhost, too. You’ll have to wait until they actually let us have a website to see what I mean. It’s usually only down a minute or two at a time, so if you check it again in a minute it should be back.

In reply to: 404 error message on all existing pages, archives, posts, etc. Thanks, I ended up recreating the missing .htaccess file (in ftp, create a new file and name it .htaccess) and that fixed it.

In reply to: Redirecting Permalinks when converting from B2evoIt’s not a dupe, but I can ask for help here if you’d prefer.
The redirect solution didn’t solve the issue, because b2evolution uses underscores instead of dashes (and inserts an underscore for apostrophes, as well as truncating long post slugs) So despite the redirect, all the old links to our site are broken, because the slugs look like peters-revenge-new-hour-of-power rather than: peter_s_revenge_new_hour_of_p
So what now?

In reply to: Redirecting Permalinks when converting from B2evoThanks. BTW, the /a/ is an awful feature of b2evolution. The closest thing b2 has to MU, there it allows you to have blog a, blog b, c, d . . . if you don’t mind the world’s worst URL. Here it’s just plumb ugly, but Adam (the original poster, I’m his somewhat-tired helper) is bent on all his old links still working, even if the urls have to stay that ugly. Really needs to get a redirect of some kind working.
