Hi, I am trying to figure out the same thing . Any help appreciated.This site has done the same but menu is not transparent.Apart from that there is a big white space above slider in mobile devices.

@laurahartwigdesign: No,I don’t want to change Customizr. I love this theme and want to create many segments with full width colour background in body of the theme just below featured pages with circular images on home page. Would appreciate any help. I could create multiple coloured segments but they were not of full width. I tried different margins also but no result.

@designbyjesser: Thanks but you are not getting my point. I want to have parallax effect on home page with full width multi coloured background. I want to add more pages into single page and each page with different colour background.
