  • What is the fix for this error? I cannot access the admin of my site (or the site itself) for this error. Do I delete Woocommerce in the hosting file manager?

    There are two which updated around the same time in file manager;

    – woocommerce-jetpack
    and
    – jetpack

    Will that at least get me into the site if I delete both or the correct one? Hope someone can help. Many thanks

    Hi Tara

    Thank you very much for replying to me, the error turned out to be that there was a \ missing before the * here:

    /* For developers: WordPress debugging mode.

    I’m not sure how this happened as I have never edited this, away to have a google to find out how this changed itself! ??

    Thanks again for your help.

    Hi kharis, it seems to have fixed itself so must have been an update or something? If you had any advice on the breadcrumb issue though it would be much appreciated as it is still wrong.

    Many thanks

    Hi Kharis

    Thanks for your reply, I have switched off the Under Construction Plugin and my site is https://www.pawsclawspets.co.uk – it is the Shop Section where the images are not showing.

    The theme is ‘Customizer‘ – which I thought was good for Woocommerce ? You will see the breadcrumbs in the shop are all wrong too, for example on this page:

    https://pawsclawspets.co.uk/product/beta-complete-puppy-large-breed-dog-food-with-turkey-3kg/

    The breadcrumb should be:

    Home ? Shop ? Dog Supplies ? Dog Food & Treats ? Beta Complete Puppy Large Breed Dog Food with Turkey 3kg

    but instead it is:

    Home ? Products ? Beta Complete Puppy Large Breed Dog Food with Turkey 3kg

    I don’t know if something isn’t linking right and also causing these problems with the images… I look forward to your reply! ??

    Hi d4z_c0nf

    I’ve removed the ‘Under Construction’ plugin – I am still in the early development stages… https://www.pawsclawspets.co.uk And these issues are in the ‘Shop’ pages only – where I would want the Product Categories to appear on the LHS, and Cart on the RHS. The cart will only appear once an item is added to the basket.

    I have managed to get the Right side bar ONLY to appear by setting up the Widget Area described above under ‘Products’ and playing abut with the settings, including;

    Page Attributes: No Parent and Default Template
    Side bar: Right sidebar only

    I tried setting up a separate Widget Area for the Left Hand Side, but it still will not show anything on the left hand side – some pages look as though the content has moved to make space for the LHS side bar, but there is never actually any widgets – I did put widgets into the widget areas.

    An example of where it looks like there should be a LHS side bar is this page: https://pawsclawspets.co.uk/product/beta-complete-puppy-large-breed-dog-food-with-turkey-3kg/

    I look forward to your reply! ?? Thank you

    Hi d4z_c0nf, thanks for replying to me!

    I have done all of the above, and then set up 2 settings to try and override what is wrong.

    I have 2 titles:

    – Shop> Category (All woocommerce + Shop, Checkout, Cart)
    – Producst> Category (All woo commerce + shop, checkout cart)

    And I selected Right side bar to be replaced by 2 sidebars. Also set the layout options to ‘Right sidebar’.

    But now the sidebars are still not appearing and there seems to be extra Widget appearing below the shop content, including;

    – Search
    – Pages (list of)
    – Archives
    – Categories

    These are sitting above the footer widgets 1,2,& 3.

    To explain, the reason I set up both ‘shop’ and ‘product’ widget areas is because when I click on Shop> then select a category, the shop seems to lose the path it is on. The breadcrumb says:

    – Home> Products> Cat (it’s a pet shop!)

    When it should say:

    – Home> Shop> Cat

    I don’t know if this has something to do with why the sidebars are not showing correctly? Losing my mind trying to figure this out! ??
