Thanks, Lisa; I’ll reach out to Ionos later about the email and see if they can find it hidden elsewhere.

I sure hope someone is able to help me with my main PHP issue, though; that one is a showstopper for me. I’ve spent the day on it and am out of ideas.

Lisa—Thanks so much for the speedy reply and offer of help regarding the admin email issue! I really appreciate it. However, as I mentioned, the admin email is listed correctly on 1and1/Ionos as [email protected]. I checked the Options table as you suggested just to be sure. Yet back in WordPress, where I had changed it in Settings>General as you noted, it isn’t implementing the change because it says the new email won’t be effective until it is confirmed. But apparently WordPress is still sending the confirmation email to [email protected]! I know this because periodically when I open my site to work on something I’ll get a prompt mentioning that the verizon address is my admin address—which it’s not. So I seem caught in an endless loop….

Thanks for the speedy reply! I had actually gone through your FAQs and the other notes on this string before writing you. ?? I don’t have jetpack; my prior note listed the only plugins I have enabled on my web site; yours is the only SoundCloud one, and I just installed it yesterday after doing all my upgrades. As I mentioned, it’s not the end of the world. If I get a chance, I’ll mess around with deactivating plgins to test, but for my immediate needs, I just went to SoundCloud and got the HTML5 coding directly from there. Thx.

I’m having the same issue — I just upgraded to WP3.3.1, and upgraded my Atahualpa theme to 3.7.3. I have only a handful of plugins: Portfolio Slideshow Pro (not currently on the same page as where I want the sound files), TinyMCE Advanced, Health Check, WP-DBManager, and Akismet. Is my theme or any of those plugins already known to be an issue? It’s no the end of the world, but it’d be great if I could get the SoundCloud plugin to work. As with the other folks, I can get the HTML5 code directly from my soundcloud page, and that code works fine.

Well, I was disappointed that in two days no one responded at all. I did a complete wipe and reinstall and happily the problem righted itself.

Hi! Thanks for the speedy reply. I don’t actually have any plugins installed on this particular site yet. I took your advice and switched to the default theme, and sure enough, the page in question normalized. I want to use Atahualpa (I’m on version 3.4.5), so now I have to figure out what to do; I will see about their support forum, I guess. I had been pasting (CTRL-V) my content from my old site, then re-adding the images that I had already uploaded to my media gallery. I haven’t had a problem with that before (I created a much bigger site doing that on Atahualpa without issue over the past few weeks, the only difference being many more images on each page of this new site I’m building). It was fine until I started reformmating the text and adding the images, and even that was going fine until I guess I hit some kind of critical mass event and it freaked out. If copying & pasting from my old site is a bad idea, that would be good to know, though. I will look into the BytesFor All forum as well, now that it looks like a Theme-related issue. Thanks!
