  • Look at this:
    https://rallycross.com/asc_screenshots/focal_point.png

This is what you can achieve by selecting a focal point. Since this is something that I need to do on the individual image it would be great if I could combine this work with selecting the corner, where I want to place the logo.

Of course, I could use two separate plug-ins which both expose their widgets in den Image Edit dialog, but putting this into one plug-in might be a package that would make the plug-in more successful.

PS: rallycross.com is not done with WordPress yet. I working on this one. But you can see that we place the icon to the right or left depending on where it fits better on the image.

    Hi Kuba,

Thanks for reviewing my suggestions. Here are my comments.

[1] I hope the pro version will not be too expensive so I can afford it. ??

[2] I like the idea of it being a rewatermark option.

[3] No, actually it is not. But it is part of the treatment that one should do for each picture. So if you expand the idea of this plug-in from “watermarking” to “image tuning”, this plug-in would be much more useful.
In addition, there is only one other focal point plug-in on the market as far as I see. So this would enhance the chance to sell it.

Is there a way to attach an image here, so I could show you an example how setting a focal point would enhance the rendered images?

    Hi Kuba,

Thanks for putting this on top as a sticky note. And sorry for my post yesterday, I did not read the other post that you are rewriting the plug-in.

I use Easy Watermark to put a logo onto a specific position (right corner). As you are re-writing the plug-in anyway, maybe you are open for some feature requests.

[1] I can assign different logos for the different images sizes. By this way I can use a smaller water mark for smaller images. The design would be different not the scale.

[2] I can decide photo by photo which alignment (lower right, lower left, etc) I want to use.

[3] I can determine a focal point image by image which will be used as a center for the rendered images. This is actually another nice feature which I have to use a different plug-in for and I would like to see this feature here.

    I am talking about:

Hope this helps! I am looking forward to testing the new release of your plug-in!

    Best regards,

    Andreas
