I have similar problem since WP 3.1.2 upgrade

Status messages are not showing although I did not add any new plugin, etc.

if you are using new google analytics tracking code…you should use following:
on_sent_ok: “_gaq.push([‘_trackPageview’, ‘/thank-you.html’]);”
