Uninstalling the Visual Composer won’t remove all of the related settings. But once removed/deleted completely, this might loose all of the data.

However the pages created with visual composer will not be affected, as they contain shortcodes which can be picked up from the later install as well.

Yes, plugins are great.
But if you still want to add the link in the footer, you can just edit the footer.php and add custom HTML/PHP to implement that.
footer.php is under Dashboard > Appearance > Edit

This option actually allow you to customize the message that is being sent in the respective alert, not the design. Design can be customized if you include your personal email file or use any plugin!

If you use a plugin to do that, it might through an error for API Key. Because then you’ll be providing two API keys, one from the theme’s default and the other from the plugin.
So, you’ll have to do that manually.
You can find that in theme’s functions.php file.

If it’s a problem with the theme’s template then you should create a homepage.
Create a page and select your desired layout.

You will have to add your own custom email template in order to customize the theme/style of the email sent as an alert.

Do it by editing the theme’s css file in Dashboard > Appearance > Editor > tylesheet (style.css)

The problem you are having here is that you are using the older map api v1 url to show the map.
Update the api version and get a new url to display map. This will solve your problem.

You might have changed your page’s layout to “Full Width”. I checked the theme you are using, it supports full width pages.
Just edit your homepage (WP Dashboard > Pages). In the sidebar of the editor you will see a small selection element with the title of “Page Template”. If the “Full Width Page” is selected change it to your desired one and publish/update the page.

It would be better if we can see your website.
Without looking at your site and theme, I’d suggest that make a section before footer on the respective page and highlight the link inside the section. Make it a little bit larger and add a catchy color, so your visitors can see it.

All above things are dead simple, so almost every theme supports these now a days. But this one is a free so it have limited support for plugins. If this is a site for professional business, you should buy some premium theme, which support more than these. So in future you don’t have to worry about expanding your site.

I haven’t tried panoramic, but as far as I see, it should have some support for basic contact form plugin (Contact Form 7) and some gallery plugins. Give it a try!

I did not installed wordpress in the way it’s mentioned in the above linked article.
I just simply created a folder in /var/www/html/ and unzipped the downloaded wordpress files and folders.
I’ts working completely fine except I can’t upload any thing ??
