In reply to: How do I edit permalink on my siteSorry Jan Dembowski and arncus,
I didn’t have the ‘Notify me of follow-up replies via email’ on. I’ve turned the copy protection off. I activated Column Shortcodes by Codepress. Here is my code now:[one_half]Here is a list of all posts from the earliest to the latest.
[posts-list style=”ol” date_format=FALSE sort=”asc”][/one_half]This gives me a list of 43 post entries. My question is how would I split this into two columns of 22 and 21 post entries each?

In reply to: [Travelify] Trying to link menu bar button to posts.Great ideas CrochingBruin! Now I have two buttonlinks on the menubar, ‘Mexico’ and “Hawaii’. When you click on Mexico you get drop down choice of Melaque or Sayulita, if you choose Melaque, the reader can choose the Melaque posts or the Melaque Post List. Pretty clean and neat, thanks!
If you get a chance to check out my WP at neterm.net/Postcards I’d be open to any suggestions for improvement. I really appreciate the help you have given.
The best,

In reply to: [Travelify] Trying to link menu bar button to posts.Okay, I see what you mean. Now when you press the Melaque, Mexico button, the drop down lists Melaque and if you click on that you are taken to the Melaque posts. If you just press and release the menubar Melaque, Mexico button it takes the reader to an empty page. I will look for a way to turn that part off. I will try the same for my other categories of posts; Hawaii and I will ready the Sayulita menu. Thanks again for your help CrouchingBruin, things are making more sense with the menus and categories than I’ve ever understood.
The best,

In reply to: [Travelify] Trying to link menu bar button to posts.Okay CrochingBruin,
I have created a category called ‘Melaque’ and in Posts have assigned it to all the Melaque Posts, the posts are also assigned the category ‘Mexico’. I then go to Menus in Appearance and see a Page with the Navigation Label of ‘Melaque, Mexico’. In Categories on the left I can checkmark my new ‘Melaque’ category. However, at this point I cannot drag it to anything, it looks like my only choice is to ‘Add To Menu’ which just produces a menubar with all my post titles, it works but I was hoping that the posts would appear under the Melaque, Mexico button in the menubar on my page neterm.net/Postcards.When I click on the ‘Melaque’ category, the cursor changes to the four arrow shape for dragging but nothing really drags.
