In reply to: [Mailchimp List Subscribe Form] Change field labelI have the identical question. I did exactly what you did: I changed the label for the email field on the MailChimp side of things, but the new field label doesn’t carry over to the plugin. Were you able to find a solution for this, Simone?
If not, I hope one of the developers answers our question.
Best,
Shae

In reply to: [Styles] [Plugin: Styles] Can't Modify Background Color for Search FormThank you so much for taking the time to investigate these issues, Paul.
Search Form Background
When I installed TwentyEleven, the search form appeared in the menu bar. I didn’t do anything to change its position. In fact, I would have been quite happy to have it above the banner, as on the example you provided.
Menu and Footer Background
Thanks for alerting me to the time lag. This will keep me from doing and undoing changes in frustration. I’ll make my changes and be patient, then see if they stick.
Disappearing Settings
You know, I did have both Styles and Styles: TwentyEleven installed and activated, but then I deleted Styles because I thought running both might be the problem. A notice for this would be helpful.
Grateful!

In reply to: [Styles] [Plugin: Styles] Can't Modify Background Color for Search FormWhoops! Now, when I go to the site from the link above, I see that the settings for the menu bar color and the footer area have also disappeared (I had made them blue), so I take back what I said about the plugin working for those things. Help?!

In reply to: [Styles] [Plugin: Styles] Can't Modify Background Color for Search FormThanks for responding, Paul.
I am running version 1.0.1.
The website is here: https://www.mailers-assist.com/
I’ve set the background color for search form to white and the border to the same blue as the menu bar, but those settings are not holding. The only search form setting that holds for me is the font color, which I was able to successfully change from white to black.
The plugin has worked for everything else I’ve used it for so far. I appreciate your time!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Change color of contact form entry fields?It did work. I was too literal. I pasted in the code you gave me above, but it doesn’t have a # sign. I added that and it works fine. Thank you again for your help.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Change color of contact form entry fields?P.S. I also tried replacing #FFFFFF with #dbdbdb in the code above, but nothing changed then, either. ??

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Change color of contact form entry fields?Hmmm. That didn’t change anything at all. Was I supposed to just paste it in at the bottom or do I need to add it somewhere specific? I found this block of code in the style sheet:
.wpcf7-form { font-weight: bold }
.wpcf7-form span.wpcf7-form-control-wrap { display: block; margin-top: 5px; position: relative; }
.wpcf7-form input[type=”submit”] { margin-top: 0 }
.wpcf7-form .ajax-loader { display: none }
.wpcf7-form p { margin: 0 0 15px }
.wpcf7-form p:last-of-type { margin: 0 }
div.wpcf7-validation-errors, span.wpcf7-not-valid-tip { background-color: #FFFFFF; border: medium none !important; border-radius: 4px 4px 4px 4px; box-shadow: 4px 4px 0 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.05); color: #606060; padding: 10px 25px; text-align: center; margin: 0; }
div.wpcf7-validation-errors { margin: 25px 0 0 }
span.wpcf7-not-valid-tip { float: left; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; }
.post-type { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #BBBBBB; border-radius: 4px 4px 4px 4px; color: #FFFFFF; display: inline-block; float: right; font-weight: 600; margin: -70px 0 10px; padding: 0 8px; text-transform: uppercase; }What would I change if I wanted the background to be pale gray instead of white?
Thanks for trying to help!
Yah, like I said above, it worked after I deactivated my old, bad twitter widget plugin. Thanks again!
Oops! Got it! It appeared after I deactivated my former twitter widget plugin, which had broken. Thanks for the plugin!
I am having the same problem. I use the Yoko theme. Installed the widget, activated it, configured it, but it does not show on the “available widgets” page. Running WP 3.3.1.
