Yes, it is in a subdirectory, so I guess it is the same bug as in the other thread. do you want any other info from me to help track it down?

What’s weird, and was misleading in finding the problem, is that photon worked before, and I hadn’t touched the hotlink settings in years.

Okay, I dug into this, and the problem was all me–I had hotlink protection enabled on my server, and it was restricting wp.com from accessing the original files.

Added i2.wp.com to the permitted referrers, enabled direct requests, and everything seems to work as it should.

I just updated to 2.1 about an hour ago–I guess this is the one you mean? I was hoping this issue would have gone away with the update, but it hasn’t.

I think I’m having the same issue. When I look at the browser error log, here’s what I see for all the images:

Network Issue: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (Bad Request)

If I turn Photon off, my images come back, turn it on, they’re all gone with this same error message.

I’ve tried turning off all my other plug-ins, but it makes no difference. I did have a previous version of Photon working with WP3.4, but since updating to WP3.5 and the version of Jetpack before this one, I’ve had this problem.

No, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of support for jetpack that I can find. I really have no idea what’s going on. Maybe the theme is somehow altering the image call? I’m using Pagelines Framework.

I have jetpack disabled, because without pics, I don’t have a site, but if I turn it on, here’s a sample of an image call that’s rejected:

So Alex, what does that mean? It looks like that’s code that would have to be generated by NGG (?)

Is there any way for us to get portrait images in the jQuery slideshow centered within the show?

Finally figured this out. Kind of dumb, but in case anyone else has a similar issue.

I was using the shortcode:

[slideshow id=8 w=890px h=600px]

This worked fine for the flash slideshow (and monoslideshow), but to get jquery working, it had to be changed to:

[slideshow id=8 w=890 h=600]

I installed the Sidebar Shortcodes plugin, and that seemed to work okay.

Hmmm. I’ve installed the most up-to-date nextgen, and the monoslideshow plugin. when I try and use it with the short code, I get the following error message within the monoslideshow player:

Not sure if this helps, but I found I had to manually put the whole path in the field, including the https:// at the beginning, and imagerotator.swf at the end.
