Yes, I ultimately had my host fix this problem.

JustHost isn’t a free host, but it is cheap. They do, however, have very good support. I didn’t try their support initially because the one-click install says that it just installs and doesn’t provide support, so I thought that WordPress might have some advice on where files are typically stored, as I thought I could fix the problem myself if I could just find the files to delete. However, upon talking to support at JustHost, they fixed the problem and reinstalled for me.

    Thanks for the tips, everyone!

At either address, I get the following error:

    Not Found

The requested URL /wordpress was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Somewhere in the install process I was instructed to bookmark https://mydomain.com/wp-admin, but I get the following message:

    Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at 69.175.35.114. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.
