For me I am using flickr to host images so I just put the link to flickr’s images in my example above and it blocked opening flickr’s images in new windows for lightbox. If you are sourcing multiple external links my guess is try their newer version of this plugin, which I haven’t used because it was too confusing. But hey, I may need it in the future and I’ll figure it out and come back here and explain how it’s done.

Alec, thanks for the warm response! Quickly, just wanted to address the 4 stars- your FV player documentation (i.e. “Using YouTube with FV Player” page) advertises a YouTube branded player wrapped inside an FV Player (not specified as a “pro” version). Am I safe to assume this is not included in the free FV player? If so, let me know when you get that documentation updated to say “pro” and I’ll gladly update the star rating to it’s deserving 5-stars. I’m only leaving this up because I lost 15 hours tinkering with documentation, google, wordpress, etc. when I thought YouTube and Vimeo were offered inside FV player (it does mention it on the WordPress plugin banner) and am saving someone else that headache until this gets updated.

Also, I’m very interested in FV player (video + wordpress) and I appreciate the new features being implemented, as well. Hope to resolve any documentation errors and possibly utilize FV player in the very near future ??

Temp fix provided in Tribe’s forum:

With the 3.x family of releases and WordPress 3.6 users are finding that the update recurring event dialog that appears when trying to save a change to recurring events appears but is behind a grey ‘miasma’ and does nothing when its buttons are clicked upon.

We’ll be addressing this as quickly as possible, but in the interim adding the following brief snippet to your functions.php file should help to resolve this:

Pretty sure the solution will result in finding some title code in your theme and deleting it. Might ask your theme company forums where you remove the homepage title since you’re now using Yoast WordPress SEO. I believe Google doesn’t pick up on it so that’s good, just your theme making the tabs title look funky. I was upset until I found the code on my theme and now the plugin works exactly as it should. Worth removing that extra code.

I noted earlier that at first I was blaming Yoast SEO until I realized my theme had customization in the header.php under titles and that’s something outside of this plugin’s scope because every theme will be different in it’s location of coding. I don’t think this plugin has bugs, so much that other themes are incompatible with it; some to a smaller extent, others have deeper code than usual, hence the problems on specific pages only when using the ‘force rewrite title’.

For anyone using Yoast SEO and YOOtheme:

I had this very problem using YOOthemes – it looks like my theme company tried to place the blog title code in the header.php (its called head.php on the theme … inside a folder called warp > systems > wordpress > layouts > head.php) – they basically exported their joomla themes to wordpress so now you can customize WordPress like Joomla, its pretty sick. But I wanted to point out that at first I was pulling my hair out trying to blame the Yoast SEO plugin until I found the following code (SPECIFIC TO YOOTHEME):

<title><?php bloginfo('name'); ?> <?php wp_title(); ?></title>

I now change it to the following and it works great:

<title><?php wp_title(); ?></title>

Again, this is specific to YOOtheme but I figured I’d contribute my solution because … well, I absolutely LOVE Yoast’s SEO plugin!!!!

My favorite part about Yoast SEO aside from the customized titles is the ability to remove /category/ from blogs (with the caveat to not have the same category name/slug as a page’s name/slug)

Just enabled “log errors” on the backend, will email errors if it happens on my test server. I’ll come back and mark this as resolved if it doesn’t give a 500 error within a week.

My client was very happy with your plugin – I’m glad to hear back so that we could have the opportunity to use it again (with the twig folder ??

Thanks for the response, could you give me a clue as to where I could find the web server log entries? I understand the wordpress backend, FTP, cpanel backend, MySQL, terminal, etc. but you’ll have to excuse my ignorance on finding a “web server log entry”

Sorry again to ask another question while your WordPress Plugin listing is down but… could you take a look at these two sites and see what happened when I updated the plugin att: the spacing and the loss of CSS exclusivity? what CSS classes changed to where it overrides my customizations?
