It can’t be used to inject images into Nextgen, but it can be used to tag files with keywords much like Lightroom, and then when adding those images manually through the Nextgen plugin, those keywords translate to tags. The major difference between the two is that Bridge acts as a file browser, while Lightroom Classic acts as a data manager that’s linked to source files and is non-destructive.

I have actually switched from Bridge to Lightroom to manage the organization of all of my images, and that DOES have the integration for direct publishing to Nextgen.

Hmm…okay, I’m not sure if this is the same issue that I’ve experienced, but here’s what I was trying to achieve.

Wordpress is in /home/<user>/public_html/
I have images in /bigbird/plexMedia/Photos/ which is naturally outside of the user’s folder structure and outside of the apache public_html structure.

I mv’d the wordpress /uploads folder to uploads.bak, then symlinked /uploads to the /bigbird/plexMedia/Photos/ folder.

When I use the plugin to browse for the files I want to add from server, I can see the /uploads folder, but the moment I double click it, the plugin reverts to /home/<user> rather than displaying the files in the symlinked location.

Is this the same issue that you’ve addressed here or have I attempted something completely different?

It would be awesome to be able to monitor a single user, or a single role, or multiple users and/or multiple roles for logins.

It’s a perfectly fine plugin but the feature I’m looking for isn’t there. Basically, I was trying to figure out how to turn a single ‘page’ into a feed. That page has a list of changes in reverse chronological order, so the first bit of text in the feed’s <description> tag for the <item> would be the only real change when the page is updated, thereby allowing me to trigger notification to people watching the change log.

So for the average user, what does this mean? How will it affect us?

Hey Jesse, there are no lists shown in the tag generator dialog on my setup. I have one list in Mailpoet. No idea.

Wouldn’t it be some sort of logic that stated something like:

If left trim “1” = ‘-‘ then do this else do that…

Yeah, so that’s Chinese to me, but I do appreciate it. Is there a more user friendly guide to shortcodes for this plug-in? This is a very confusing plugin.

It was the tr selector that I needed to style.

I too am a few months away from my own wedding. The challenge I’m facing is increasing the length of the passcode allowed when adding a guest. Did you have that problem?

Saving the permalink page again seems to have fixed the problem, however, there wasn’t a note at the bottom of the Permalink Settings page when I saved it.

Either way, that did it. I suspect it was a problem that stemmed from trying out previous versions of other Testimonial plug-ins.

Oh, on another note, if I add any text to a page other than the code to insert the gallery, it breaks the gallery and displays the gallery insert text instead.

It would be nice to be able to throw the gallery in a page that has additional content.
