Are you then suggesting that I should NOT add these codes (to my blog) from feedburner.com:
    – email subscription link/form
    – other chicklets/feedburner’s publicity tools
    How then will people subscribe?

BTW, I have now activated the Feedsmith on top of the feedburner.com (using the same feed address) – would that create any conflict? Do I continue to use the feedburner.com dashboards to see my blog’s stats?

Thanks, HandySolo. I need clarification on your response.

    – What does “people AFTER your theme” mean?
    – If I already have my blog burned through the feedburner.com page, what can the Feedsmith add to it? (I have read that link before but it is still not clear what additional value the Feedsmith has when I have “enrolled” my blog’s URL already.)

Also, as an additional question, I read a lot of people stating the use of pingomatic (and similar ping services). If I already activated the automatic ping services (pingomatic, technorati, bloglines, syndic8, etc) in feedburner.com, do I need to separately and manually go to pingomatic to ping them of my new content?
