In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Marking Links Broken that Aren’tSame problem, I spent 30 minutes trying to sort out why a link to a LinkedIn profile was marked as broken in a post when the code was accurate. Turns out it was this plugin marking a perfectly fine link as broken.
Deactivated and judging from the lack of support response or interest in keeping the plugin working, it looks like I won’t be using it ever again.

In reply to: [Tockify Events Calendar] Conflict with W3 Total CacheMy apologies, on closer inspection this was an issue with my W3 Total Cache settings. In W3 Cache > Minify > JS > JS file management I had added the tockify JS file. This was a recommendation from a page speed report site, and I (obviously) didn’t think it through before adding the Tockify file.
I removed the file, saved settings and purged cache and all is fine.
Thanks for your help, sorry for the confusion!
SteveSame here…? What’s going on?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Google Search Console – Excluded by ‘noindex’ tagThanks, I’ve confirmed the setting is “Yes” for all of the other pages.
How would I allow indexing of links like this: https://saratech.com/2018/05/creating-templates-in-nx-cam/
These are blogspot posts that we’ve imported and have 301 redirected the URL’s, but they’re showing up as Excluded Due to No Index, but they’re set as “Yes” under the “Allow search engines to show this Post in search results?”
Thanks

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Google Search Console – Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag1. Discourage search engine not checked
2. All Content types were set to “Yes” except for Templates which was set to “No”. I switched this to “Yes” but the noindex tag was still there
3. Ahhh!!! I don’t know how that setting got changed to “No” on the home page. I switched it to “Yes” and now the noindex is gone. Thanks for your help.
One question, I’m curious why a noindex on the homepage would disrupt the coverage for 241 pages? Shouldn’t it just affect the homepage? Or is it because it’s the top level URL that it affects a crawler from going to sub pages on that URL?
In case it helps anyone else. I used the code below with the BE Theme button shortcode.
Replace 3613 with the ID of the slider you’re trying to open.
[button onclick='wpcs_open_slider_3613()' link="" title="Request Quote" align="left" icon="" icon_position="" color="" font_color="#1b4585" size="2" full_width="no" class="quote-button"]

Thanks very much, I agree, it should be a feature included with the theme as many other theme page builders include an option to enable them with custom posts – Visual Composer, etc.
Not sure why this one doesn’t. The theme devs are (understandably…sort of) skittish about giving advice about modifying themes, so I’m not sure they’ll answer.
Thanks anyway
#1 – Yes, I have responsive sizing checked. That works fine, I’m just looking for a way to make the main video at the top smaller or make the videos play in each thumbnail instead of only playing in the top video frame?
#2 – Thank you, yes, I know I can set the columns of the grid but like my question above, I only want three videos where each one plays inside of its own frame, not one big one on top and a grid below, just three like in the screenshot.
Currently, I can’t see if it’s possible to have two different formats for the video layout? If I change the rows and columns settings it will apply to all of the videos that I’ve embedded, correct?

In reply to: [NextGEN Facebook] NGFB Ruined my Portfolio FormattingPerhaps I didn’t word my orignal post well. I haven’t used NGFB. My site is still under construction and I haven’t published any posts or shared anything with NGFB. All I know is that I activated it and the next thing I know my portfolio names are screwed up as shown in my op.
I’m not a programmer and I’m not interested in re-coding my wp site. I’ve since deleted NGFB (and I won’t re-load) but the coding now shows up on new portfolios that I create. I was hoping for an easy way to stop this from happening, but that doesn’t sound possible.
Also, if you know that there’s a ‘large portion of badly written code’ on www.remarpro.com, why don’t you take that into account when developing your plugins or warn people who download them that it might be an issue?
Also, you’re second link above is broken.
Thanks anyway.
