Unfortunately, no, but if Ashe Pro outputs the category description, and does not apply filters to it, it should work. I suggest you contact Ashe Pro developers and ask if they display the category description without filtering it.

Otherwise, send me some examples to the support email address and I can try help troubleshoot.

I’ve looked at the code, and I can’t see how the tag descriptions are dealt with differently. I should be able to pay attention to this in the next couple of weeks: I recently started a new job and settling in is taking up most of my time.

This plugin doesn’t use or collect any user data. It doesn’t store anything, for that matter, not even settings.

I’ll investigate and see if any other themes add GDPR compliance statuses and follow suit. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I understand legislation compliance is an important matter.

I’m sorry, but it seems my reply to your message disappeared.

My plugin does allow tag descriptions to retain HTML coding, but your theme does need to display the tag descriptions: something my plugin can’t override.

For interest sake, what plugin did you switch to?

After troubleshooting, this turned out to be a theme issue, not an issue with the plugin. I’m resolving this request.
