You were right. The problem was not caused by your plugin.
It took me some time to isolate the element causing the problem and it’s actually quite bizarre.
The ‘fixed’ property of my background used for the ‘body’ element made the video ‘disappear’. My best guess is, that it causes the video to be played underneath the background.
