If you have configured your domains settings to send from a sub-domain named mg.example.com, you should use “[email protected]” for large mass mailings. This way you preserve/protect the reputation of your domain. See also https://www.mailgun.com/blog/email/the-basics-of-email-subdomains/

Hi, (answering as a MailGun user): IMHO the information provided on the MailGun pages https://signup.mailgun.com/new/signup should be quite self-explaining.
I believe there is an additional limitation (with the free plan you can send max 100 messages/hour before your account is verified, if I remember correctly). This will be dropped once your account is verified. See https://help.mailgun.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001124753-Account-Sending-Limitation

Did you try with the key found under your profile (top right corner, click the profile ->under the ‘Account settings’ section ->API keys -> Private API key)?

Hi, one possibility to do this would be directly on the database level. Create an Event that runs on a regular schedule (e.g. every night or so). The event runs a procedure which removes outdated records
