I tried again with the redirection plugin, and it works if in the relative URL I include the subsite even when the redirection source is inside the subsite.

/es/sections/something => https://example.com/es/page/

This was posted for the multisite forum and the moderator modified the topic, which I think is a mistake because this is a WP Multisite install with directory subsites.

example.com
example.com/es/
example.com/en/
example.com/ba/

As I am the administrator and there are not other users in backend, I disable the upload in Ninja Firewll policies.

In the monitoring tab, there wasn’t a previous snapshot, and File Guard was enabled. Where can I find more info about these? I don’t receive notifications because I have an issue with the WordPress sending emails, is there any other place where I can find the notifications?

Thanks @mayuripatel nice article however doesn’t explain how to merge some subsites with the main site.

Maybe I have to look in MariaDB if there is a way to merge tables

I have RankMath, the point is that the index sitemap of the main site example.com stores the sitemap of example.com/ar/. This is how the main site is structured by Multisite.

The Multisite works well and serves its purpose, which is not the translation only.

You can enter the sitemap.xml’s of each subsite individually in Google Search Console.?

Sorry, I didn’t mention it before. This is precisely how it is now that’s why I was asking about an index sitemap that indicates that the subsites belong to the main URL.

The subdirectory sites can also be different websites, and I wouldn’t be so sure that GSC understands that.

Sorry for the delay. in my site, the subdomains are subfolders.

• example.com/
• example.com/es/ spanish version
• example.com/en/ english version
• example.com/ba/ spanish version
• example.com/ar/ spanish version

example. com and example.com/ar/ spanish version are the same main site, this is how multisite is.

In Google Search Console I can find the pages of the subsites in the main URL

Maybe it’s not a must to have a sitemap index, that include all the subsites URL’s but I thought that the structure of the site should be more clear.

Sorry for the misunderstood. The x-default is missing from Multisite Language Switcher, which is the plugin that I am using now. That’s the main reason I want to change to TranslatePress.

The only thing that worked was:

1)I changed in
Affiliate Links>Ajustes>General
recommends
by
sugiere

2)Then I disabled and deleted the plugin

3)I reloaded the plugin again, and now
sugiere is default so I didn’t have to change anything
and the link works fine.

The issue is not about a word in a different language, it happens with any word in English too.

The word can’t be changed with EAL in my wp multisite.

English United States.

The other issue with this:

for a Spanish word:

The redirection doesn’t take place, when I click the link I get a 404.
