In reply to: Make a page a blog?Hi, @dyers2. I was able to access your page today. If I understand you correctly you want the About Us/Dawson, Pa section to be your blog.
If you want https://meadowcroft-dyeworks.com/dawson/ to be a blog you must go to your Dashboard then Settings – Reading then set the ‘Posts Page’ to About Us.
Every time you add content to this page, you would hover over Posts then click Add New. Posts are usually one to three items down on the left-hand side of your Dashboard.
I hope this gets you started.

In reply to: Multisite sub domain not creating sitesHi, @gavinmcgill. Have you contacted your host provider about this issue yet? Some hosts do not support multi-sites. I won’t mention any names but you should call them first. Are you receiving any error messages from WordPress when you create the site?
Also, I am not an expert on DNS configuration but I am not sure about being about to have the https://www.dundee.early.engineering. It most likely would be https://dundee.early.engineering.

background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.12);I was able to see the background image. Is that what you are asking for?

In reply to: user review system for postsHi, @anandaxp. I am not sure what your end goal is but you could start out with a ranking plug-in such as WP-PostRatings.

In reply to: Copy site for development versionCan you do a backup and download from the current hosting provider? Can yo FTP into the site? I usually do both. I get the hosting providers backup and then FTP and just copy the files to develop locally.
I have rarely found a problem with this but in your case 33 PLUGINS! Yikes, there are tools out there but I have never tried them and just do it the dirty way because it makes me feel safe. Just a suggestion from a very JR Developer.
At times, I do have had to download plugins individually and install them on my local development site. This would be the same if you are working on a development server.

In reply to: How do i install WordPress?Hi, @diamaris. If you are new and bought a hosting package they may have a ‘One Click App’ or ‘One Click Install’.
Of course, never hesitate to get in touch with your host provider. They have technical support for these things. I know how frustrating this can be. Believe me, I know.

In reply to: Add Non-WordPress Folder to WordPress with same URLI am not sure what you mean but let me hazzard a guess. If any of those ‘folders’ or files have links or paths WITHIN them that reference via absolute or relative paths to other folders and file and you move those folders or files then you will have to change the paths within them. There is no way to avoid this.
However, if you are talking about just URL’s that point to the ‘folders’ then that is something completely different. URL’s are controlled with the DNS settings. So, I am not sure which you are referring to. My guess is you have links within your html that you don’t want to have to change?????
