I see that on the previous install (0.7.1) of Optimizer the language files also didn’t work correct. Language of the site is NL. It seems Optimizer can’t find the language files.
How can I solve this?

Thanks for the quick reply. The backend looks ok with the Twenty Seventeen theme. The theme I use is Optimizer, and that gives the scrambled look in the backend.

I think I found the problem. The thumbnails that are too big are made of images smaller than the thumbnail (original 256×200 – thumbnail 357×260). If I use a larger image it seems to go good.

I also found a way to disable the previewfunction, it works on a categoryview, but not on a categoryview on the frontpage. How is that possible?

Sorry, it’s on a local server. It happens in Chrome and in Firefox.
Not only on the frontpage (frontpagewidget), also in a categoryview elsewhere on the site where I use the same images (the two big ones on the left).
Would regenerate thumbnails work?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunatly making esc_attr esc_attr_e didn’t work for me, the searchform was all messed up.
What did work was replacing the words ‘Search’ with the dutch ‘Zoek’ in those lines.

Hi,
I’d rather not use to many plugins, but I tried it using Loco Translate – but still no luck

This is what’s in Loco Translate.
And the result (after cleaning browsercache):

Still english in searchbox and button.

Why doesn’t it work?

Clearing the cache didn’t solve the issue.
The database was all messed up. I’ve replaced the old database with a backup and now it seems to work fine again.
Because of the wrong charset in de database WordPress couldn’t find the right changes I made in the customizer. So the problem wasn’t caused by the Optimizer theme.

When I ‘uncomment’ the lines I mentioned before, the theme is back to it’s default. But when I want to change things in the customizer the customizer doesn’t work properly: blank pages where I used to have fields, little grey triangles in on the left site and no text. See picture:

So I can’t make the changes in the customizer.

Thanks for the fast reply. Unfortunatly it didn’t work. When I ‘uncomment’ the lines and change charset to utf8 the same problem: the theme is all messed up – changes I’ve made in the customizer are gone.
Are the changes in the customizer stored in the database? Maybe something goes wrong there.
