In reply to: A site has Invaded My WebsiteGlad that solved your problem. I too decided to hire the security guy. We now require permanent monitoring as we cannot afford being blacklisted by our customers. I think you are doing the right thing too. Best of luck.

In reply to: A site has Invaded My WebsiteSame here…the malware comes from clkdeals.com. this is how it operates. You start your website. The moment you click a link (say a post or page), a second window opens, with clkdeals.com opening first in a matter of 2 or 3 seconds… than disappears to allow another site to open to sell you or ask you to download.
Then it goes dormant for a bit. So I shut down the browser, follow the same procedure and same result.
Now I know this is not a malware in my PC, because it happens in my iPhone too.
I don’t have a solution, but just hired a professional on elance and will see what they can do tomorrow. Will post here again if I figure it out.

In reply to: after Multisite install, posts won't showIt shows directory ‘blog’ but really not working. Too bad that the old MU was killed. Please post if you find a solution, I’ll do the same, of course. Meanwhile, I will probably go back to MU 2.9. Until this one has much more automated process as oppose to having to tweak codes.

In reply to: [Plugin: BP-FBConnect] Can’t get this plugin to work.I think the existing version of Facebook Connect designed by the BuddyPress folks has not been updated, while the current Buddypress v.1.2.2.1 has undergone substantial changes, from what I understand. I figured the plugin page at Buddypress lists the latest updates, in order of their release. Heres the page: https://buddypress.org/extend/plugins/ The top one is the one that has been released/upgraded last. Sadly Facebook Connect is not there yet, and I suspect the owner is working on it.
There are alternatives like xpr, but most of them are more trouble to install than anything else. I’d wait if I were you, which is what I am doing.

In reply to: [plugin : Vote It Up]yea- that’s the drama with some of these plugins. No real meat so you may be taking a risk with them. I tried to install it to and same issues. I love the idea, but go figure!
