Having kind of same trouble. Feed I am pulling doesn’t have any images but I would like to be able to automatically set a featured image for new posts. I have a selection of images I use and I would be happy to juat pick a random one out of those images. Best I have is a small snippet of php that will generate a random image out of a folder of images. Just cant seem to get it to set it as a featured image when a new post is generated…hmmm
