    In reply to: WordPress Wap

I’m attempting to use wp-wap on an LG LX5450 (service from Alltel). I can get a listing of articles, but when I select any of them I get “The Requested Page cannot be displayed”. I don’t have any funky characters in the items – some of them are even empty and I still get the same message. I tried editing index.php and removing the commenting routine and all the items in the other column (categories, calendar, etc), so all I have when I visit via a regular browser is the item list, and when an item is clicked only that item (title, “posted by” info, and item text) are displayed. But I’m still getting the same message in my phone’s browser.

    Hey chuckg,
Have you had a chance to look any more at how to have the months drop down when a given year is selected in the archives?

Without a page reload would be more slick, but I’d settle for either. ??

Nice hack. Actually, what would be even cooler is, when the user clicks 2002 for example, it would display all the months for 2002 in which an entry exists. Then if the user clicked 2001, it would close the 2002 list and show all the months in 2001 for which an entry exists.

Thanks for the feedback, but that didn’t quite fix it. Now the middle column has gotten more narrow.

Actually, there’s no indication that the comments were posted – it just goes back to the top of the pop-up window, and if I scroll down, my entries are still in the fields, giving the impression that it didn’t work (even though the comments were in fact posted).
What I’d like is to be able to have the pop-up window automatically close after the commnents are posted. I’ve been trying to figure out if there’s a line of code that could be added to auto-close the window, but I’m not well versed in the code enough to know for sure.

Thanks! I’m actually using a style sheet called style3.css, but I modified and pasted the #wp-calendar entries from the wp-layout.css file, and it worked like a champ.
