I am trying to use the following as a title for a post.

Autographed 8×10 Photo

But wordpress keeps changing the 8×10 to 8×10.

The lower case x that I am using is being changed to the multiplication symbol × .

HELP. THERE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE ANYONE THAT CAN FIX THIS.

I too have the same problem. Something about wordpress dynamic replacement… HELP

My content protection is working perfectly. But masking doesn’t work.

I was under the impression that all I had to do to mask urls was go to Membership/Options/Downloads&Media
Select Basic Protection, uploads location, my masked url name

and that thats it. All content in my wp-content/uploads folder would be masked to https://archenemys.com/whatevernameigive/

Is this not how it supposed to happen?

Yes, I am logging in as a test user with vip privileges.

Yes, the access level was added to the download rule but it locked everyone out from actually seeing content.

I also have the same problem.

It happens a few times a month, ever since I moved from godaddy standard hosting to Managed WordPress hosting.

Me and my wife have admin accounts. If I get bumped to “subscriber” I user her account to set my account back to an Admin role. (I don’t get bumped off and on, I have to manually set back to Admin using her account.)

Yes I’ve take all the security steps.

I have 10 plugins. I’ve disabled them all, removed them all, ect.

I generally take all precautions “before” I call GoDaddy to avoid the standard theme/plugin runaround.

Also I ain’t no rookie. I’ve run several websites for almost 20 years now. Over 10 years of that spent with GoDaddy but that’s about to change. I’ve used MS Frontpage, Web Expression, Dreamweaver, Ning and of course WordPress.

WordPress is not perfect but it’s solid and dependable. GoDaddy should be ashamed of bashing them because of their own lack of effort.

UPDATE
I called again a few days ago. I was told there were some server latency and the techs would not look into my problem until it was resolved. Guess what no soon did the latency stop but my Connection Lost problems completely went away. It does come back but I now know it’s not me, wordpress, plugins, themes or anything else like that. It’s GoDaddy as usual. GoDaddy Managed WordPress is run no better than all their other hosting packages. They will definitely get your site up and running but sure won’t stay that way. Anyone else with this Connection Lost issue on GoDaddy, ITS THEIR CRAP SERVER!!! You’ll be told to call support and they’ll be happy to help… Yeah good luck with that.

Still waiting for lightbox to work… There’s been 3 theme updates since version 1.0.9 and none have fixed this bug. Whats UP???

I’ve been waiting for about 3 months for a response for fix from them on the same issue. Lightbox not working…
