I used 357 as a fake reference and I forgot to update it when I published the post, my site took longer than usual to display and came back blank. When I went back in the admin page and put in the right id, it brought up the website.

Anyways, can you not use shortcodes in the title?

Ohh and I didn’t know this but fun fact, if you don’t put in the right id you kill your whole wordpres site or at least make it all empty.

NICE!!!! Thanks soooo much. Been looking for an add on to do this then it occurred to me that I could handle what I was looking for with shortcodes.

@a2hostingrj: Ahh ok these are not what I am looking for. These just install last modified but never do anything with the blog post. I am looking for something along the lines of:

Then I would add whatever update I have and move the post to the top, otherwise would be useless to add something to a blog post and have it buried in 100+ posts.

Right now I am having to manually put in the originally posted date and change the publish date to move it to the top.

@t-p, well thank you for replying but at the time of when I made this site, it was in the directory which is how I found it. Not sure why this was removed. You can find it here.

Can you post the line in your wp-config.php define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’)?

You would have to gain access to the site or get in touch with the hosting company and see if they still have your site available depending of course on the time frame between lapses.

I know this doesn’t help now but I would recommend, if you do start another website, to install updraft to make backups of your db and posts.

You might try WayBack Machine…I did a quick search and saw some posts from March.

I am saddened that no one has replied to this. I cant be the only one to have wanted this. Out of thousands of folks looking at these forums, not one person even attempted to assist. Sad.

Yep I have already done that, couldn’t find anything that looked nice.

I thought I would ask those that have been running WordPress sites longer than I have for suggestions.

I am really not looking for spending more than I absolutely have to as this is mostly a blog of random thoughts.
