In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack Contact Form errorsHi Tracy,
I retested the Jetpack form a couple of days ago and it started sending through complete messages again. The only change up to that point was the release of WordPress 4.9.6, so I can only assume that one of the fixes in it appears to have resolved the original issue.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack Contact Form errorsHi, I already said that disabling Mailmunch made no difference to the issue.
Mailmunch places hidden divs in pages to allow for their own forms to appear if they are ever turned on.
However, the Jetpack form data entered is still processed being correctly by the database and is visible in the Feedback entry. The problem is that the form e-mail notification is not being correctly populated by all of the data. Are there errors in the notification template that prevent data from certain tyoes of fields being copied to a notification e-mail?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack Contact Form errorsHi Tracy, just tried that, but unfortunately it made no difference.
Hi WPExperts.io.
I’ve followed your suggestion, disabling the cache and doing a hard refresh.
Unfortunately WPCS is still not showing. What else do you suggest?
Hello WPExperts.io, please can you respond so that this issue can be resolved asap?
Hi, we’ve tried disabling some plugins but it hasn’t helped. Please can you identify the js errors that you found so that we can resolve this problem asap?
Hi, the site uses Revolution Slider which can play YouTube videos, but previously that has worked fine with WPCS. Unless a recent update has caused conflict where everything worked perfectly before?
Thanks for your suggestion, but it doesn’t seem to work.
Thanks for the css code, but it only applies a scroll bar to the inside of the form in the contact slider, so while it scrolls the form down slightly to its end, it doesn’t scroll the entire slider so that it can actually show the bottom of the form in the window. Please can you supply an alternative div that will allow scrolling for the entire slider?
Many thanks. Thanks for the css code.
I’ve added it via custom CSS and amended the parameters, and the tab title now displays on one line as in the previous version.
However, the scrolling function on desktop only works with the cursor keys.
It does not work with either the mouse or the scrollbar, and the scrollbar only moves the page behind the slider. As most people will use the mouse to move the scrollbar or drag the slider directly, they won’t be able to see the whole slider. As, in this case, the slider displays a contact form, people can’t send a message as the send button is below the fold, and they can’t scroll down to it.
Please can you restore the scrollbar for the slider, or provide some CSS for it in the meantime?
Many thanks.
Hi, that fix does the trick just fine. Thanks for pushing it out so quickly!
We’re using 5.8.1.1.
Deleted that CSS and it’s displaying correctly now. Thanks for your help!
That seems to be the only cause thankfully, as notifications are now being received as expected.
Can we put in a request for the Administrator Email setting to be moved from Event Submission Templates to Email Settings to avoid any similar future issues, and to possibly add an appropriate note to the Test Email Settings?
Hi, thanks for your reply.
How or where did you find that CSS?
