I agree completely with Mosey. Nothing like using a plugin for purposes it wasn’t *really* designed for and then complaining. Sheesh. Aside from that this is a note to say congratulations on a Great Plugin and it works beautifully on a highly customised WPMU. Nice one jolley_small we love you at least ??

In reply to: Thoughts on How to Create Directory Listing? If it is a business directory you’re wanting we’ve got one running at https://business.forargyll.com. Has to be said it is not as tight as it could be, and we’re still developing it, but we did it by extending user profiles and publishing them to a page when a user registers. Everytime the listing is changed the page updates. Then we use search unleashed to drive the whole thing which is the best compromise we could find. No idea yet how it will play with the search engines … Creating categories is the next challenge. Hope that’s useful.

In reply to: Critique my work, pleaseIn Scotland it’s Flake n Chups. Nice site. Disagree about the white (except with a hangover obviously) and love that taut opening screen with the orange n pic. The however is that on a Mac with firefox your sidebar does look a little cramped – up the font size and line spacing?

In reply to: Feedback, please, on new siteCut as much of the text on the front page as possible. Get your visitor to where they need to be as quickly as possible. Don’t make them read! In my view simplifying this will look more confident and businesslike as well as bring the design in.
