Glad to know! Thank you ??
Thank you for your kind review. ??
Yes, you can easily change the page title from “Job Opening” to “Current Opening” using the page editor. This process is the same as editing any other page title.
Hi @philrules,
Thank you for reaching out.
The Pro Pack is actually an add-on plugin. To upgrade to the pro version, you will need to download the additional add-on plugin, which works alongside the free plugin. Once downloaded, you can install and activate it on your WordPress site using the provided license key.
If you have any further questions about the pro version, please contact us at our support page at https://wpjobopenings.com/support/. As per the official WordPress forum guidelines, we are not allowed to share the details or provide support for the commercial version of the products in forums.
Regards,

@williamebales Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely appreciate it, as it helps us improve and address any misunderstandings about our plugin. We’d like to clarify a few points to ensure there is no confusion regarding the functionality and features of WP Job Openings:
- The Plugin is Designed for Public Job Listings
Our plugin is not intended for internal use only. In fact, it is designed to help you display job openings publicly on your website. A quick look at our demo would show how job openings are visible to visitors without requiring any internal access. - Automatic and Flexible Page Configuration
During onboarding, users can select which page they want to use for displaying job openings. The job listing shortcode is automatically added to the selected page.- If no page is selected, a default “Job Openings” page is created.
- Users can also remove this page and manually add the shortcode to any page they desire, providing flexibility.
This process is clearly documented in our publicly available documentation and video.
- Key Features Transparency
The plugin repository clearly lists all key features of the free version, along with a detailed breakdown of the premium add-ons and some of the features of Pro Pack addon. The features displayed on the plugin’s main page exclusively describe the free version, ensuring no misleading claims are made. - ReCaptcha Version
While we understand your concern about ReCaptcha v2, we retained it due to popular demand from our existing users. Based on user feedback, ReCaptcha v3 was less preferred. However, we are continuously gathering feedback to explore options for providing both versions in the future. - Customizable Job Listing URLs
By default, job postings are displayed under/job-openings/
. However, users can customize this by adding the shortcode to any page they prefer, such as/careers/
. This ensures that job listings are displayed exactly where users want them.
We understand your frustrations, but most of these points could be resolved by reviewing our plugin description or documentation. We strive to provide clear instructions to make the experience seamless for all users. If there are areas where we could improve, we’d be happy to hear your suggestions.
We kindly request you consider updating your review and rating to reflect your updated understanding of the plugin. Reviews like these may unintentionally mislead others into believing the plugin does not work as intended. We hope we’ve clarified your concerns and demonstrated our commitment to providing a user-friendly solution.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience. We understand how frustrating it can be when things don’t work as expected.
We would like to clarify that the issue you’re experiencing is a licensing conflict, which is unrelated to the core functionality of the WP Job Openings plugin or the quality of our support. Our team has responded to all your tickets promptly and has suggested several fixes that have worked for other users in similar situations. We are also collaborating closely with our licensing partner to resolve this matter and ensure your Pro Pack becomes fully functional again.
However, since this issue pertains to the Pro version and its licensing, discussing it further here in reviews or on the WordPress repository forums would be against WordPress guidelines. Engaging in such discussions risks the suspension or ban of our accounts. We kindly request that you continue communicating with us through our dedicated support system so we can work together to resolve this matter as quickly as possible.
We also hope you’ll consider updating your review to reflect your experience with the plugin and our ongoing support efforts. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we’re committed to ensuring a positive experience with our product.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please reach out through our official support channels if there’s anything further we can assist with.
Hi @mofenx, WP Job Openings is compatible with PHP 8.1 and higher and does not cause any errors. However we have found that there was a depreciate warning for some of the website using PHP 8.1 and higher. We have fixed it in our latest update (V 3.4.4). Please update your plugin to the latest version.
If you are facing any issues with our plugin, please share some screenshots and details with us. We will be happy to assist you and resolve any problem.
Please reconsider your rating and review if you are satisfied with our plugin and support.
Thank you for choosing WP Job Openings.
