    more info

Your site has not been hacked.

https://www.arg.com/110mb.html is 110MB’s current 404 advertiser. It means the page does not exist. Has the webpage been deleted?

    Check your links.

It turns out the link to site is a subcontracted ‘404’ site.

    But.

    1. in https://hotinfo.110mb.com/Hajj-IslamicPilgrimages/

I just added a new ‘category’, Hajj History.

I allocated a post/story to it, The Hajj Through History.

I go back out front and click ‘Hajj History and it should bring up all the stories for Hajj History, but it goes to 404.

    2. i just used WordPress to crate that tag ‘dua’ on the existing post.

Go out front click on dua, in the ‘Tag Cloud’ and it ‘404’s.

I had used ver 2.6.2 on the ‘hajj’ blog, but I got blank pages when installed.

I took it down and put up ver 2.5.1, which was previously stable.

    For https://hotinfo.110mb.com/ramadhan
    it is using Ver 2.6.

Should I go back to Ver 2.6 for ‘Hajj’, at the moment.

    Thanks Rahim

    Dear Gangleri,

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes, standard widgets except for the ad blocks which are added via the text widget in the sidebars.

No extra/foreign file except the ad blocks, everything else is stock standard WP.

Correction: I have 1 JPEG file imported from the net.

The access logs are disabled on my host, and though I can find the error logs on other ( Cpanel) hosts, I can’t find it on this one ( not Cpanel).

No I didnt’ change the Password after the hack, but I did change the admin name, ( not sure before or after hack).

How do I get into .htaccess. It isn’t ‘editabe’ from within my host. Do I download it and edit it on my CPU?

I’ve just checked the first of the trio of sites, https://hotinfo.110mb.com/ramadhan, and it seems to have been bypassed, by the hacker. (SSHHHHH!).

I had used the same wp-content, /themes/ and /plugins/ for both site, loading up ‘islamicconversions’ wp-content folder into a WP 2.5.1 that had no WP-content.

Maybe I brought the hacker with me from one site to the other.

    Thanks for your interest.

I found the 2.5.1 archive and downloaded it.

Let’s hope it works again, and again, and again.

Well, that’s the ‘work around’ for me.

The original post still remains ‘UNRESOLVED’.

Why can’t the Ver 2.6.1 work?

Update- I’ve tried versions 2.0.3. NO GOOD.

I’ve tried linking to the database of the 1 that works https://hotinfo.110mb.com/ramadhan/ no good.

I finally allowed my host to install WordPress, for me.

    And it works.

    It Installed Version 2.5.1 SUCCESSFULLY.

Where can I get some more 2.5.1, as my host only allows 5 internal installs, and I’ve use 2 of them trying this.

    So I have 2.6 on /ramadhan,

/ebayinfo/ ( that’s the one 2.0.3, i thnk; and the first 1 to show the original errors using 2.6) ans still not working.

    and 2.5.1 on /islamicconversions/

    Thanks

    Rahim

ignore post no2 – original stands.

The difference in references is because with the ‘retry’ I used an older version.

the problem persist with the old version and 2.6
